Psilocybin Psilocybin is a naturally occurring psychoactive compound found in certain species of mushrooms and has a long history of ceremonial use within particular Indigenous cultures. Unlike shorter altered-state experiences, psilocybin generally unfolds over several hours and may involve changes in perception, emotion, thought, memory, bodily awareness, and sense of time. Experiences vary considerably. Some people report heightened awareness of music or nature, vivid imagery, emotional openness, personal memories, shifts in perspective, or experiences they interpret through spiritual or symbolic frameworks. Others encounter periods of uncertainty, fear, grief, or challenging emotional material. There is no single or expected way a psilocybin experience should unfold. At Aether & Ancestors, our approach emphasizes education, thoughtful preparation, responsible consideration, harm-reduction awareness, and integration. Preparation creates space to explore intentions, expectations, questions, personal circumstances, boundaries, and practical considerations before an altered-state experience. Integration provides space afterward to reflect on what arose without imposing a particular interpretation or meaning. Psilocybin is not appropriate for every person or circumstance. Medical conditions, personal or family psychiatric history, medications, pregnancy, substance interactions, and other individual factors may affect risk and suitability. Prescription medications should never be discontinued or modified for the purpose of participating in a psychedelic experience without consultation with the prescribing healthcare professional. Ceremony Booking & Cancellation Policy To ensure each ceremony is approached with appropriate preparation, care, and mutual understanding, the following policies apply to all private ceremonial bookings with Aether & Ancestors Collective. Preparation Call A preparation call is required before every ceremony. This conversation provides space to review your intake information, discuss intentions and expectations, address questions or concerns, and review important preparation details. Completion of any required intake forms and the preparation call is necessary before the ceremony can take place. Payment & Confirmation Full payment is required to secure your ceremony date. A requested date is not considered confirmed until payment has been received and any required booking requirements have been completed. Cancellation & Refund Policy We understand that circumstances can change. Refunds are provided according to the amount of notice given: 7 or more days before your ceremony: Full refund 2–6 days before your ceremony: 50% refund Within 24 hours of your ceremony: No refund Refunds are calculated based on the amount paid for the ceremony. Any processing fees charged by third-party payment providers may be non-refundable. Rescheduling Requests to reschedule will be considered based on availability. If illness, safety concerns, changes in health or medication, or other circumstances arise that could affect your participation, please communicate this as soon as possible. Aether & Ancestors reserves the right to postpone or cancel a ceremony when proceeding would not be appropriate or safe. By booking a ceremony, you acknowledge and agree to these booking and cancellation terms.
